Dual-Edge Coater

Our Dual-Edge scoop coater has two unique edges designed to distribute a standard coating on one side and a heavy deposit on the other (sharp & rounded). Its molded polycarbonate end caps provide a tight fit protecting the coaters edges and its perfect angle allows perfect coating every time. Constructed of precision-extruded aluminum our Dual-Edge coater with its bottom angles allows the coater to be filled without handholding. Our Dual _Edge scoop coater is available in a range of sizes up to 96-inches in length.

Your screens inside diameter determine the scoop coater size. When choosing a scoop coater allow 1-inch open area on each side and be sure it covers your copy or print area.

Perfect Angle Coater

Our Perfect Angle scoop coater is an easy-to-handle coater that applies a smooth, even, and uniform coating of emulsion on your screen. The coating angle is calibrated for a perfect coating every time. Made from hard anodized gold aluminum with its permanent side enclosures allow for quick cleaning without leaking.

Plastic Coater / Scraper

Our plastic spreader / scraper is an ideal tool for use with emulsion and blockout to use in coating areas missed by scoop coater applications. They are also ideal for spreading glue over frames when adhering screen mesh to screen-frames.

Sable Blockout Brush

Our Blockout brushes are available in varied ranges of 000 (very fine) to 9 (very coarse). Its longwearing golden sable bristles keep their point sharp for long periods of time and they are ideal for touching up pinholes in coated screens. This sable brush can also be used in touching up positive and negative films.

421 Blockout

421 Blockout developed by Chromaline is an inexpensive, water-based solution used for blocking out pinholes in coated screen mesh. 421 Blockout is freeze thaw stable and is available in quarts and gallons.

Chroma / Fill Blockout

Chroma / Fill is a red blockout developed by Chromaline for use with solvent-based, UV, and plastisol inks. This fast drying blockout coats smoothly and can be applied by brush or scraper.

Blockout Pen

Our red blockout pens are solvent resistance and water -soluble. Easy to use: just place the pen over the pinhole and depress its cap, instantly filling the void.

Exposure Guide

Magnifier

This superb 6-power, folding magnifier has a 1 1/8” diameter photographic quality glass lens. The base with 1” square viewing area is clearly marked and engraved with white lines and numbers in both inches and millimeters. Protective snap-lock case included.

Fabric Loupe

Our 1890 6-power loupe with cut-away base is great for focusing on fabric surface areas in which weave may be distorted. The 1890 loupe is also ideal for checking coated screen and artwork, especially for retouching. Our loupe includes a lens cap to protect its optics. 1 ¼” in diameter, 2 ½” in height and a 2 1/8” viewing area.
